I really cannot remember exactly what I was doing on this day, but whatever it was, it was done in style!! So, have you ever bought something that you needed but did not really "like"? That was the case with the boots in this post. Believe it or not, I bought them about 14 years ago when I started college in the Chicago area. Being from Arizona, I knew I needed winter boots, but had no clue how to choose. Thankfully I had some help, but unfortunately this person did not have the same taste in shoes as me.... I guess I must add, too, that I have big feet and did not like to wear boots on the account that I thought it made my feet look bigger. At any rate, I wore the boots for my first two winters and then gladly passed them on to my mom for something different. So, to my surprise, when I was at home this Christmas, I rediscovered these boots, and fell in love with them. I am not sure if my taste changed, or my feet, or maybe my heart grew bigger, oh wait that is the Grinch...but whatever happened, these boots were a staple for me this Christmas vacation! So that is the story of the boots that I did not like...interesting, right?

My favorite part of this outfit, apart from my boots, is this gigantic flower that one of the couples in the church here in Guadalajara gave me for Christmas!! Nothing better than knowing you are loved!
